Questions

The questions we hear most, in the middle of a move and otherwise. Every answer stands on its own.

Questions

Asked often, answered plainly.

You’ll continue working with the same advisor you’ve come to know and trust, now backed by a comprehensive client experience. Our new platform offers robust technology, transparency, an intuitive experience, and added services in how we serve you. While the relationship stays the same, the tools and resources supporting it are designed to be even better.

The people stay the same, the four advisors and four associates you already know. Your accounts move to custody at National Financial Services (NFS), a Fidelity company, one of the industry’s leading custodians, and there is some transfer paperwork we prepare and walk through with you. Day to day, you call the same office and reach the same team.

&Partners is our broker-dealer and investment adviser platform, the firm through which we offer securities and advisory services. They are dually registered, founded by seasoned professionals from some of the most respected firms in the industry, and built on an advisor-owned model with concierge-level support instead of call centers. Custody of your assets is handled by National Financial Services LLC (NFS), a Fidelity company. We chose &Partners because their values match ours, clients first, full transparency, advice without conflict.

We listen. Bring your questions, your statements if you like, and whatever is on your mind. You’ll leave knowing whether we can help, what working together would look like, and what it costs.

The team already knows your family and your plan, and that’s by design. Four advisors across different career stages mean the relationship doesn’t depend on one person. When a client passes, we handle the account transitions, watch for fraud, and sit with the family through the paperwork, because that’s the moment the plan was for.

Yes, and we believe it’s one of the reasons clients choose this practice. Alan Lamar practiced as a CPA (not currently practicing) before joining the team, and we can now help analyze your tax return through your plan. We don’t replace your tax preparer; we coordinate with them so the plan and the return can tell the same story.

It depends on the services involved, and we would rather show you than generalize. Fees are laid out in plain terms in the first meeting and in writing before you commit to anything. If you ever have a question about what you’re paying, ask, and you’ll get a direct answer.

We’ve found our services are generally needed when someone has accumulated $500,000 or more in investable assets. If you’re not sure whether we’re the right fit, the first conversation is the honest way to find out, and we’ll say so either way.

No. Most of our clients are in East Mississippi because that’s home, but we work with families well beyond it. Distance doesn’t change the service; reviews and meetings happen by phone or video as easily as across the desk.
